Quickstart
Prepare your first integration with Senmo infrastructure.
This guide outlines the initial steps for integrating a Senmo infrastructure product into your application.
Because InfraRails, Hyperhash, and Foundry serve different technical purposes, their specific setup requirements may differ.
Step 1 — Select a product
Choose the infrastructure platform that matches your application.
Infrarails
For applications requiring programmable financial ledgers, accounts, transactions, and payment-related infrastructure.
Hyperhash
For applications requiring cryptocurrency wallet infrastructure, digital asset management, and blockchain connectivity.
Foundry
For applications requiring digital voucher issuance, management, distribution, and redemption workflows.
Step 2 — Review the core concepts
Before integrating, familiarize yourself with the terminology and data models of your chosen platform.
For example:
| Platform | Concepts to understand |
|---|---|
| Infrarails | Ledgers, accounts, transactions, entries, balances |
| Hyperhash | Wallets, assets, networks, blockchain transactions |
| Foundry | Voucher programs, vouchers, distribution, redemption |
Step 3 — Review the API reference
Open the API Reference section for your selected platform.
Review the documented:
- API base URL.
- Available endpoints and methods.
- Authentication requirements.
- Required parameters.
- Request and response schemas.
- Error handling behavior.
Use the values published in the API reference rather than assuming that the three platforms share identical configurations.
Step 4 — Configure your application
Prepare your development environment with the configuration required by the selected platform.
A typical server-side integration may use environment variables such as:
SENMO_API_BASE_URL=<platform-api-base-url>
SENMO_API_KEY=<your-api-credential>
These variable names are illustrative application configuration, not a universal Senmo SDK or credential specification.
Store credentials securely and never commit them to source control.
Step 5 — Make your first request
Once access has been provisioned, select an operation from the relevant API reference.
For a successful first integration, verify that:
- Your application can reach the configured API.
- The request uses the documented authentication mechanism.
- The request follows the required schema.
- Your application correctly handles the response.
- Errors are logged without exposing sensitive credentials.
Step 6 — Validate the integration
Before deploying to production:
- Test successful and unsuccessful requests.
- Validate input handling.
- Review authentication and authorization behavior.
- Test relevant retry and timeout scenarios.
- Verify that sensitive information is not exposed in application logs.
- Confirm that financial or asset-related operations cannot be duplicated unintentionally.
