Ledgers
The foundation of financial recordkeeping in Infrarails.
A ledger is the primary accounting boundary within Infrarails. It provides the context in which financial accounts, transactions, and accounting entries are organized.
Applications use ledgers to separate financial records and manage accounting activity within a defined scope.
Understanding ledgers
A ledger represents a logical collection of financial resources.
Each ledger can contain multiple accounts and transactions. Transactions reference accounts within the appropriate ledger and record financial movements through accounting entries.
